oh my goodness these doughnuts are WONDERFUL on their own without the cream or the glaze! had to try one they are even better with the filling and glaze TY SO much for posting such wonderful recipes!! trying the French crullers later this week!

These are my fav donuts too. I used to not eat breakfast in High School. However, on the off-chance that my m om could take me to school she would take me through the drive-through at the local doughnut shop and I would always get one of these. They used to be the only doughnut I liked. I can’t wait to try them out and see if they match my memory of JR’s Doughnut Castle!
