My girlfriend made me this cake for my birthday last night, and I have not stopped bragging to my friends and co-workers about how delicious and decadent it is. Tres leches is my favorite cake and this is a perfect variation. YUUUUUM

made it this weekend for father’s day. It was good, BUT it was not as moist as i would expect from a tres leches. Also, I agree that next time I would forego the chocolate marble. It was just too much. Maybe I let my case bake too long or didn’t aerate the flour properly, because the cake was very dense.

Tried this one myself today! Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to let it refrigerate for 6 hours though so it ended up being a creamy chocolate mess.
Better luck next time I suppose.
