Just found your site from Becky Higgins. We have a lot in common. Love all the same books, have you read any of Jessica Day George’s?? She is a fellow BYU grad! Go Cougars! The game today about game my hubby and me an ulcer! I have 4 kiddos and we all love to read! I will be visiting often. Love your site! The recipes look great! It is great to find fellow moms who love to read, cook, scrapbook and love BYU! I am a midwest small Kansas town girl. Looking forward to more from you!
Oh my goodness, my sons do the same thing! I found your site through Becky Higgins and just had to comment because I’m happy to find someone else whose children seem to share the same love of Charlie & Lola!
Your photography is absolutely stunning! You know just how to put the right colors together, and the lighting makes all these wonderfully tantalizing goodies look irresistible! I’m really enjoying your site, and I’ll be making the s’mores treats and the lime bars very soon!
I’m sorry but as I’m reading down your blog, I keep wanting to say more! I love that you have a recipe for a whole wheat crust for quiche, so I’ll be trying that out this week! Thanks… Also, regarding peeling peaches, since my sons don’t like peels on apples, pears or peaches (I know, I need to work on this with them), I use a vegetable peeler! I simple peel the peach with the peeler, cut it into chunks, and they eat the fruit. This has helped me; it’s very quick.
There’s this really sweet Charlie & Lola book we just got from the library — it’s about how Lola is a really picky eater. It’s called “I will never not ever eat a tomato.” — so cute!
I AM A NEW GRANDMOTHER, I AM LOOKING TO CREATE MEMORIES WITH MY 15 MONTH OLD GRANDAUGTHER. SHE LOVES BOOKS, BUT I NEED SOME RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AGE APPROPRIATE BOOKS. MY THEORY IS TO DO ALL THE THINGS I PLANNED TO DO WITH MY OWN KIDS BUT DIDN’T HAVE THE TIME. ANY IDEAS??
