Joy---I find a little sprinkling of anise seed and extra pepper and salt can make things taste more sausage-y. You might want to give that a try. Or you could skip the tofu bolognese and just add those spices to some sauteed portobellos. I bet it would be good either way. ;)

Looks delicous! As a vegetarian, i'd substitutethough. There is some tofu bolognese available - perhaps this would work? I just would need to figure out how to spice it up to fit the meal!

When did you add the chicken stock? I see it on the ingredient list but not in the instructions...

My fiance and I are having our first Thanksgiving at our new home and I can not wait to make this. This dish will make our dinner special and will be sure to make my parents proud!

This looks YUMMY.

I was going to call you but haven't gotten around to it. I never got out to get a newspaper. I am so sorry. I was crazy busy with the kids and then Kirk got home way late from work that night and by then I'd forgotten about it. Again, I am so sorry.

This stuffing is absolutely fabulous. As good as the cranberry corn bread stuffing, dare I say better? I have been making the cranberry cornbread since I ate it at your Thanksgiving table in 2003. This year we will switch things up a bit also.
