Adriano---they actually weren't any particular brand. The nice old man at my grocery store makes them from scratch, I think. My guess is that he is from somewhere in South America.

Do you know what kind of sausages they where? brand or anything?

Here in Brazil we have 2 large brands (Saida and Aurora) but they mostly do sausages with MSG.. but not all hope is lost there are some smaller brands that are really wonderful and don't use MSG

Also we do have quite a variety of sausages from pure pork leg meat (linguica de pernil) some with pork and beef and some only with pork (called normally as pura)

Anyway they look wonderful

Oh, yeah, kielbasa would be perfect. In fact, I didn't even know Brazilian sausage existed. I think my grocery store has a Brazilian man working in the butcher department, so we're lucky.

I actually use those uncooked, all-natural tortillas you can find in the refrigerator section of the grocery store. I use the Tortilla Land brand.

How do you cook your tortillas? They almost look fried in this picture. I fry my own taco shells, but it is terribly labor-intensive standing over hot oil, flipping and holding them. Any suggestions?

These look ridiculously good! I've been loving mango this past week. I think I'll try this with kielbasa as I'm guessing I'll have a hard time trying to find Brazilian sausage. Thanks!

Oh my goodness, my writing is crap in this post. Sorry, everybody! It's horribly redundant! That's what I get for writing at 1:00 am.

Don't be surprised if one day you check back and see that things have changed.
