Big Little looks at the world through a baby’s eyes, who makes comparisons between the objects around him.

This is one of those books that, as a writer and an artist (in a very loose sense of the word), I look at and kick myself.  It’s so adorable and innocent and endearing, that I wish I was the creator who could be sitting back right now saying, “Oh, the cleverness of me!”  Which is, I am sure what the author and illustrator, Leslie Patricelli, is saying right now.

   We like all of her books. She has several like this. They are cute! Good reading with a little one cuddled in your lap!

   My son received that book for Christmas, along with another by Leslie titled “Yummy Yucky” Very age appropriate for almost 2-yea-olds – the pictures are sooo cute. He loves both books!

   I think you gave Preston this book for his 1st birthday. He loves to read it! Yes, he is 2 and reading by himself!! Kids never stop amazing me!

   A couple of days ago, we watched “Peter Pan” again. I finally get the “cleverness of me” reference. Now, everytime I look at your blog, I think, “Oh, the cleverness of Jamie!”
